Author’s Note: 26th entry perhaps? I really have lost count. Bad I know. Prompt 089 “I like your face” Kangin/Ryeowook for the 100 fic challenge. I kind of fail at cute shorts but I tried so that’s something right?
His stomach growled and he remembered the left over pizza from last night. Everyone had been out on schedules so he had ordered himself a medium pizza from the place down the street. He could taste it already. He skipped to the kitchen and opened the fridge. There it was, the box holding his three slices of pizza and a bread stick. He brought the box out and opened it so he could take the food out and heat it in the microwave. The box was empty.
Anger filled him. He had even written his name on the box so people would know it was his. He knew it was stupid but he wanted to cry because this happened all the time. Food with his name disappeared from the fridge, his favorite shirt ending up in someone’s closet. But if he touched their stuff, he’d be yelled at, scolded, sometimes even hit. He dumped the box in the trash can and left the kitchen, heading back to his room without eating and didn’t complain like a good dongsaeng.
He was a pushover he knew. He didn’t want to be one but he didn’t want to be rude either. More than likely he was overreacting. His food probably wasn’t the only taken. Deciding he was acting like a brat, he pulled out his favorite book to read when he was depressed. So what if the recent poll was far from in his favor? It changed all the time which member was the favorite.
Still he didn’t think it was fair to do a poll based on looks. It didn’t help the poll was taken by peers also in the music business. Somehow that just made it all that more insulting. He was ranked in the bottom five for having the best face. Reminding himself it didn’t mean anything he concentrated on his book. Twelve pages letter something fell out the book onto his lap.
He picked it up and found it to be a picture of himself sleeping. No make-up, messy hair and he was pretty sure he was drooling in the picture. He didn’t know how took it but more than likely it had been a member. He flipped the picture over and blushed with pleasure. There was a quick note jotted on the back.
Smiling he threw the photo and book aside and ran to the living room. Kangin sat on the couch watching television with Hankyung. He threw himself onto Kangins lap.
“Umph. What’s this for?”
“Nothing.” He said. He burrowed himself in Kangins arms, happy. Kangin just shrugged and when back to watching his show. He was glad he was a good dongsaeng because he had really good hyungs.
